The client
Bel Signs are a leading sign maker based in Horsham. They offer a huge range of sign making and promotional services for customers in Sussex and Surrey. They have a showroom in Horsham that required air conditioning and climate control solutions.
The brief
Bel Signs needed a brand new heating and cooling system installed in their Horsham showroom that allowed them to have their original heating system and boiler to be removed.
They tasked us at Mechcool to design, supply and install a functional system that would allow them to easily control the temperature in their embroidery / showroom areas.
This would provide staff and customers with a comfortable space when they were on the premises.
Our solution
After a site visit and understanding what the customer wanted, our team proposed the installation of a 2 unit multi split system.
One of the main things Bel Signs wanted to know was what a wall mounted unit would look like so they could understand how it would look in their store. We were able to show them how it would look beforehand so they could happily go ahead with the installation knowing that it wouldn’t impose on their showroom.
The area where the outdoor condenser unit needed to be installed was on a high flat roof. This meant our team had to bring the correct lifting equipment when installing the units to avoid manual handling and to ensure the safety of everyone.
The results
Over 3 days, our team installed the proposed 2 unit multi split air conditioning system to budget.
Bel Signs are extremely happy with the final result and have now tasked us with installing another air conditioning system on the ground floor of their premises. We will also be providing ongoing, regular air conditioning maintenance of the systems to help keep them working optimally.
